After getting wrongfully accused of being a corpo, Slash, a young rockerboy, was kicked out of his own band. The only person who believed that the allegations were false was the drummer Hack, who also left the band in support of Slash. Together, they formed Hack and Slash, raising up against their old band and eager to prove the allegations wrong and win back their old fans.
This was a track I wrote for the Cyberpunk 2077 Growl FM contest, which I unfortunately did not win. I still had a very fun time making this track, and playing in the Cyberpunk Red game behind it. Once again I want to thank Drew Meza for running the game that this track was inspired by, as well as Coop Snooperson and Chloe Fortuna for taking down the evil empire of Jerry Meddler along side me.

LYRICS:
GO!
Verse 1:
I've got my band and a new plan and we rising, rising.
Rebooting, discluding everything you thought you would see through.
I got a fixer, paid my debts and I don't owe no favors.
I'm chipping in vs moral sin to try and get under your skin.
Pre-Chorus:
And I, just want to see you go away, no braindance can satisfy me.
I need you all off of my case, you've displaced me.
Chorus:
May eventually turns to June, despite how much you try to twist the truth.
You've got away with your cooperate lies, guarded by your precious little samurai.
Corpos are the common foe, boosting up high while we flatline low.
Cut 'em loose and let 'em fall, their secrets aren't really safe after all.
Verse 2:
Stand up and fight you're not alone, do they bleed blood or just red chrome?
Fight a gang to an inch of their life, encore at the Afterlife.
Got iron in my sights, on cold and lonely nights, no Network 54 can save you from this story.
Hack and Slash, the competition, don't wanna run now we're on a mission.
GO!
Ending:
I'll cut your ties
I'll cut your ties
